I forgot to add a photo of this....
Happened on my way home from work on Wednesday, an old man drove into us at a roundabout.
We patched it up....
Hopefully it's getting fixed next week, got two quotes to have a new bootlid fitted-both over £400! Glad I'm not paying!

I can't believe someone went into the back of you. So sad. Lovin' your repair though LOL. I hope you get it sorted out. Your ding only looks like a light one, and i'm not sure of the circumstances surrounding it, but it might be worth investing in a high level rear brake light - Whilst I know some people don't like to add them as they can look a bit 'tacked on' or out of character on a period car, I'm a firm believer in fitting these things to Mini's as our tail lights are sow low to the ground compared to modern cars and are not quite as noticable.

So on Friday after lots of months of hard saving and extra work I took Vinnie on a little trip to Leicester and this happened.....
I didn't hang around while the guys chopped a big hole in his roof thank god. I think I might have panicked! They've done a really god job, so happy I've had it fitted now as I was still undecided on friday morning. Drove all the way back down the m5 with the roof open just because I could even though it was so windy my ears nearly froze
Then on Sunday I went on my first mini convoy up to Himley with our new club! Heres a picture of Vinnie celebrating the 50th- note his tiny hat
I didn't buy much at the show, just a small mini 50 scarf, a tiny model mini and er, some new wheels
I'm now penniless and proud.

Also - Just let us know when you want to pop over and we can help sort the ciggy lighter!
Also - If you can't find the key anywhere, I think you'll have to chisel them off (I had to do that with my Fiat!) If you want a hand with that, just lemme know!
EDIT - But I'm not around tomorrow!

thanks Jean! and happy birthday (again!)Absolutely gorgeous! I have some photos of Vinnie that I'll post up soon!

I think/hope Italian job Greg has got some tool that busts the locking nut off-I'm going round there tomorrow in the hope of getting them fitted!
When I got the wheels home on Sunday I stashed them in the shed and hoped no-one would find them and I could just sneak them on to Vinnie without anyone noticing! Dad found them within an hour lol He thinks they're nicer though (and that I'm mad).
Good news today! I can get my new bootlid fitted on Friday So I don't have to do london to brighton with plasters anymore, hooray!
edit:chris pm sent!

Oh dear! If you'd have asked I would have let him have one, bless him. He wasn't the only one, I had to leave a helium balloon behind on Sunday morning for my niece (22months), once she clapped eyes on them being packed in the mini she was having one if it was the last thing she ever did. Little monkey!
