MAN U CREEP ME OUT.
My Mate JUST (7 seconds ago) changed his facebook status to "is listening to Sgt. peppers ... amazing.". And it made me want to listn to it, so i youtubed it, (here) then you post a picture of it.
It's fate man, once you've listened to that, click on 'I Am The Walrus' because that's mind blowing.
Agreed........and all four Beatles owned Mini's as shown on this "Beatles Minis" website![]()
Quote:
"Can there be something more perfect ? My favourite band and my favourite car.
Not only did the Beatles produce excellent music, at least according to me, they also had a great taste for cars; The Mini."

Yes and Nick Mason (drummer with Pink Floyd) once owned a Mini Cooper S (it recently appeared in one of the Mini magz). He (like the others) are so wealthy now that he collects all kinds of exotic cars and appears at the 'Goodwood Festival Of Speed' venues and he was recently on Top Gear.
Here he is banging his drums like absolute hell in their 1971 film 'Live At Pompeii' and you'll either find this to be mind blowing noise/experience, or just noise that is unbearable (as my parents used to say): -

Well that's the real Mini that the Corgi Beatles Mini model is based on.
The snap with George was taken back in the 1960's, the other snap was taken more recently after it got fully restored.

Possibly. That Really is a terribly Innacurate model for the price it goes for!
Well it didn't cost that much when it first got released (around a tenner I think?) several years back, but then Apple records threatened to sue Corgi for using their image and so it got withdrawn from sale.
But like most things, the price got very silly and will probably continue to do so.
