1998 Fiat Punto 1.2 16v (90bhp). Yellow. To swap for a 1275 mini with an mot and that runs well.

If anyone's interested please let me know.

Note the small dent on the bonnet next to the badge, on the door above the handle and the crack at the front of the o/s sideskirt. Also the rear wiper won't be there.

Details / Good Points

1998 Mk1 Fiat Punto Sporting 16v (90bhp), in Yellow.
About 103k miles.
Standard everywhere except cd player + rear parcel shelf speakers.
A reconditioned engine + gearbox fitted around August 2007.
New Brakes fitted 6 months ago.
New exhaust fitted 6 months ago.
New fuel pump fitted 2 months ago.
I believe tax is until May 2009
MOT is until 22nd April 2009
NO rust.
Drives nicely.
Quite fast and good handling.
Full Sporting bodykit + Alloys.
Full Sporting interior.
Electric windows + electric sunroof.
Nice big boot!
Power Steering.
Very reliable.

Bad Points

Small 2-inch in diameter indent on bonnet + tiny indent near driver door handle (see photos, you may not even notice them).
No aerial, will just need a replacement but I never bothered as I only listen to cd's. Just ordered a brand new complete aerial assembly
One sideskirt has a slight crack at the front (See photos).
Electric windows aren't very fast sometimes.
Gearbox occassionally is a little bit stiff going into 2nd.

I'll post an update as soon as I get the other details.

Thanks. Guy.

It's a mk1 Sporting 1.2 16v, and I'm looking for a swap ideally for any good working order mini with an mot (even 998cc, i don't mind too much). As long as the mini is a nice-ish colour (not poo-brown!) I'll consider it.

Just ordered some new parts so the exhaust will be perfect and a brand new aerial will be fitted.

Is this just a px or would you sell it for cash?

Probably just a px I'm afraid, I'll keep the car unless there are any nice minis that I could swap with.

Thanks anyway though.

How much is this worth? What sort of mini are you looking for?

I'd value it at around £1,200 but I would like to keep it unless I find a mini I really like. It's a very good, solid, fast & sporty car.. I just miss the feeling of a mini that you fix with a piece of string and duct tape!
