hi everyone,

I will be working in Potters Bar in a couple of weeks and will take the opportunity to go to minispares and buy a Heated front screen for my project =]

my question is what is the best one? thanks

They are all pretty similar, the main difference being the elements are either visable top and bottom, or not......

i see, so which one has the elements visable , and why would you want them visable...

also, doesnt anyone make a heated screen where the elements cover the whole screen like those new modern types?

The monte style had them visible, the others are like the modern versions

How about one of the heated strips? Its cheaper! And just wondering if anyone has them?

How are they wired up? Just a switch with a live feed or does it need to go through a relay or any kind of resistor circuit? ie - can you just have one put in, connect the live an earth and a switch and off you go?

it should be on a timer relay so it does no stay on for to long.all modern cars are on a timer

also u need to make sure it anly works with the ign on so u cannot leave it on when u are not in the car
