Hi there,

Congrats on your purchasing your Designer, to say you got a good deal is an understatement, I paid almost 3 times that for my mary in about the same condition.

Check out the sites below if your interested, especially minidesigner.co.uk where 'GottaDesigner' has put a bit of history up about the car/mary quant.

recent progress:

- finished waxoiling the boot, and most of the underneath of the rear end
- hammerited underneath lots and arches,
- was going to fit new rear wheel cylinders and brake shoes but had wrong cylinders so couldnt do that,

Congrats on passing your test!

Good to see you are making some progress.

If you change the steering wheel, make sure you keep it or sell it on to another designer owner! lol

I plan that if i ever modify parts of the original car i will always keep the limited edition bits to put back on if i ever choose to sell it or just sell separate to a worthy mini owner home.
