Rightio then picked this little beast up last night from derby, took 2 hours to get there and was worth it!
Bike cost me £150 in all, no real problems just needs the battery charging and starter motor sorting out.

Started the day with washing it all down, then decided to give it a quick run..
Started up 1st kick, pushed it outside into the Parcark, let it warm up a little but no luck :(.

Pushed it back into the garden and decided to strip the back end down to get some more room to put the airbox on (just remembered :)) chucked the seat back on for a test ride and forgot to bolt it down properly :dontgetit:. Fired it up and rode around for a while, then nearly fell off going round the garages due to the seat at 25 :).

Then i got hold of a new jar of peanut butter for the plastics, due to the Nut oil. Rubbed it on in my room, stunk the place out big time while casualy talking on msn (to lucas) :gimme:.
Before and after...

I used to have a Yamaha Aerox-R Racing edition scooter when I was at college.
Loved it at the time, been able to have my own independence and not getting the bus to college.
Some modifications to the belts and springs inside the kickstart housing, a new exhaust and some further mods, it was a flying machine. Would make double the original top speed.

Let it go for £500, it was only 18months old and the mods were more then £500 alone. :dontgetit:

yup i also had one a few years back and had a few mods aswell, bought a kit to up the cc from 50cc to 70cc and a leo vince exhaust which gave abit more power then uprated/lighter weights in the variator pulley along with the correct contra spring and clutch springs saw a good boost in acceleration, the hardest part was to match the springs and the roller weights to the engines performance, anyhoo theres good fun to be had with a moped and i sometimes miss the freedom it gave compared to the car, also from experience dont ride quickly on any painted road lines/sections on corners because there slippery as hell :dontgetit: . Have fun :)

Cheers guys.
Any tips on modifications etc and where to get upgraded bits from?

Went out in the rain earlier and got the plastics back on for tomorrow.

As you can see there is quite a difference between the two plastics, will hopefully get this sorted out tomorrow.

Will be cleaning the Leo vince exhaust up tomorrow i think, any tips on this?
