hey folks, i'v got a mini pick up with a flip front that i have just bought, now it's running on 12" supelites but doesnt have any arches fitted, i'm planning on keeping it running on 12" wheels although may fit a set of 12x6 revo's, just wondering how to go about fitting front arches on a flip front, i'm guesing they'll need to be cut at the same place as the front flip's up(if that makes sense) any help from folks that have done this and pictures to show the end result would be much appreciated..
thanks
Rudi..

Wood and Pickett ones work quite well. They retain their strength even when you cut right through them. Some arches become quite floppy...
I fitted them, and then cut through with a thin angle grinder blade....

Sy, how have you fixed your front flip down?

It operates with a hydraulic pump, which opens 2 rams. Once closed down, the rams pull the front end in nice and tight, and then a seperate electric solenoid activates, which keeps the front end shut in case of hydraulic failure....

It was on the front cover of Mini Magazine, so you may have seen it and not realised. Also, our woody estate has the same hydraulic flip front, and that was in Miniworld...

Would there be more details on it anywhere, for example full detailed instructions to how you did it PWEASE
This is by far the most amazing thing done to a Mini!!
