HI All, Its been about 4 week or so since i last posted. I was told that i would be losing my garage has my dad is moving to the good old USA, so i had to get a move on. the car is almost ready for the IVA test, just the last few little things so do. then next sunday/monday the car if off back to zcars for a few things then the test.


Cant wait to get it back to fit the carbon fibre mk1 grill and the fit the rist of the plastic windows

Loving your work there John, bet your itching to get it on the road now....

You'll need an extra bit of foam under the covers on those seats (just on the ar5e) - trust me. I used 1" thick sunbed type foam, worked a treat.

Great looking project, i'd have loved to have done a minus, v jealous! What rear arches are you using? i've bought two sets so far to try & get some wide enough to fit my race spec kit, i'm out a fortune & still no closer to a solution. My wheels protrude about 5 1/2" are yours similar?

HI adam my archs were made for me they 100% carbon fibre, when i got them they were approx 8inches wide i had to trim them to fit, then send them back to be finished off. And they are not cheap to have done. As for my wheels says theey stick out approx 5-6inches

HI All i finally pick my car up today from zcars its NOW PASS the iva test, just got the paper work to sort with the tax office. VOSA know how to be so picky with things, anyway its pasted so i can now change all the bit/parts back to how i wont it and not how VOSA wont it.

HI Ben i did not have a look around this time it was just load me car up and i was gone. All i can say is good look with the IVA test, its a pain in the backside, but once its passed its i great feeling
