Unless you drive a magic wand mini with the two bottom engine steadies you won't get a proper feeling for it. It's obviously going to have more movement than you're used to but it can be significantly reduced by fitting the two trailing steadies. If you're interested in an original looking wand then try it first with the two bottom steadies.Agree, Ultimate is not the right word for the top steady, but there will be a few others in addition. Considering the poor reviews of a majic wand I may go for a drive with one at some point and see how it goes. Can always go rod change with a subtle internal linkage below the carpet.

Thanks, It will certainly be different driving experience compared to the competition mini, But would be good to keep it as period as possible. A mountain of bodywork to contemplate before worrying about simple bits like gearboxes.
