Wey ho guys.

Im doing up my 180sx to take to the ring, so i guess rather than book a place i better start making arrangements to get myself and the bother boys over there. My cars 1993, so not really retro enough.

We have a few people coming this year, most likely the following.

1987 Nissan Silvia S12
1993 Nissan 180SX
1992 Toyota Starlet
1985 Nissan Cherry Turbo
xxxx Westfield
198x Ford Transit
xxxx Pug 205
xxxx Evo 3
2004 Ibiza 20v
xxxx Evo 6 (poss)

Not sure on the rest. but by my thinking, and the fact it IS a retro run, its probably best if we just go across on our own trip as the majority of cars are too 'new'. At least it free's up some spaces like.

United Kingdom

There is no fixed definition of a classic car. Two taxation issues do impact however, leading to some people using them as cutoff dates. All cars built before January 1, 1973, are exempted from paying the annual road tax vehicle excise duty. This is then entered on the license disc displayed on the windscreen as "historic vehicle" (if a car built before this date has been first registered in 1973 or later, then its build date would have to be verified by a recognized body such as British Motor Heritage Foundation to claim tax free status). The HM Revenue & Customs define a classic car for company taxation purposes as being over 15 years old and having a value in excess of £15,000.

so technically, its at your discression.

Dave, I'd say most of those DO count personally.

I think that it's a difficult thing to define 100% though.

to be honest, I'd say it's not really any less 'Retro' than the 'Rocco I went in last year.

As long as it's not got chrome alloys and a bean can exhaust?
