I'm intrigued, how comes the walls in the spray booth are white

because there is an extraction system that pulls andy "overspray" or paint mist out of the booth! Never gets to the walls.

When you plan to be nailing it back together Pete? I've been putting off attacking that large pile of trim you brought up but I suppose its timew to get it sorted :)

Haha you make it sound like such a chore :) Well I still have to prep and paint the whole shell, and to be honest The interior will be the last thing to go in, so we'd be looking at end of November ish? I still have quite a few bits to restore before putting back on the shell, that bit always takes a while! Oh and while I remember, could you give me a quick tinkle when convenient, regarding the campervan nonsense :)

Who is this Andy Overspray figure? Also the booth walls are coated with a sticky water based coating, which catches any overspray which isn't sucked out, rather than it sticking to the walls. You just wash them off every now and again, and recoat.

Looking great Pete!

I reckon a different colour would still sell. There's too many red MGBs out there!

If I were you I'd have about 10 cars by now as I'd never want to sell anything I restore!

Haha cheers.. well I don't want to sell it, but I need the money quite desperately at the moment. I need to make my mind up on the colour in the next couple of days.. I'm still thinking tartan red, I just think it will sell best. If it was a keeper, I'd probably do it black, light greyish blue or anthracite.

The silver lining of having to sell it is that you'll no doubt be back with another fantastic project log for us all to browse through :).

Anthracite would look excellent on a 'B - especially with all the chrome against it

Ok, I prepped the inside and engine bay last night, painted it tonight. I decided to do it Tartan red in the end, thought it would sell better than anything else. It looks quite dark in the pics, it looks better in real life, I promise.
