Nice car Pete!
I nearly got one of these instead of a mini, but they were just that little bit more expensive at the time

Unfortunately not! Work has been manic, plus Flo's engine blew up so I had been building up and fitting a new one.. all sorted now, will be getting on the MG's bodywork in a week or so hopefully!

PROGRESS
Got it inside again today, stripped all the trim from the outside, interior is coming out next, getting some retro retrims treatment. Should be getting on the bodywork later on this week if work isn't too mad..

absolute BARGAIN price there mate, picked up a good un MOT'd one the same but on a 73' for the mrs last year for £750 and i felt i had robbed the guy ! £500 quid later and hers is running ace and agreed valuation at £3500 with her classic insurance. Give lancaster a try, they seemed pretty good on the b's.
Good luck with the rest of the resto mate.
(oh and by the way i can certainly reccomend Welsh Mg Centre, not far from us and he was very helpful)

Not sure on the colour yet, I'm considering selling it when it's done, which affects the colour choice.. If it was for me it would go black or dark metallic grey, but I'm thinking it would sell better if I re did it in red.. ideas welcome!
Cheers Jai, I love the look of your 'b! awesome colour. Looks to be only slightly later than mine, my wires were added by the previous owner, a certain Mrs Margaret Thatcher..

Yeah original colours do tend to sell well, and from looking there don't seem to be many red ones.
Helped a mate do a BRG one he sprayed. That sold really quickly tho just down to the fresh spray job.
I see theres loads of Campers in the back round of some of the pics, you work with them pete ?

Hmm yes that's what I was thinking. Yeah I restore aircooled VW's for a living at the moment, we do the odd mini too!

Hmm I'm not sure, I think it's blaze or flame red.. Damask is a little darker I think.

Damask is much darker,...
Any naughty little plans for this beauty then, Pete? Or is it going to be a 'just rolled off the production line' job?
I was in Bristol on Saturday - I was tempted to find out where you work to come and poke about
