Just out of curiosity how much would you have charged someone for all that work? Excellent job mate looks great.

I haven't really thought about it.. If you added up the hours, it would be something silly, around the 8k mark.

Ah well I'll be in Stirling, so not too far from you! I'm not too sure what I'm doing yet, may have a career change, or stick with cars for a bit.. the world is my mollusc.

Oh and the MG just sold on eBay for £6,350! Enough to pay off my debts, and give my mum back money she lent me a while back! Very happy.

great looking finished product there Pete! should be well proud.. and I know how it feels to sell a car after pouring countless hours into it and all I can say is you will regret it at one stage but at least you got a fair price out of it... sometimes you just gotta sell though unfortunately... seeing as you are going to scotland you ought to pop around the scottishmini.co.uk site and say hello....

Well it's actually still here! Being picked up next Saturday, I think relief will be a better word.. The thing's caused me so much grief, and still is! I'm having to seal the tank this week because there's silt in it which gets stirred up whenever you fill it up, you can see it in the filter. I'll just be pleased to have some space and money back!

Well she's gone! The guy came this morning, payed and off he drove into the sunset!



Got a message from him, it happily did the 200 mile journey to Kent, the most miles it's done in about 15 years!
