I can't see that they would put a differnt engine in but it may have just been the one I got - think half the problem was the turbo was HUGE as you put your foot down and nothing happened due to massive turbo lag then all of a sudden all hell broke loose then you had to change gear >

oh and the fuel gauge and trip computer had completly differnet ideas as to how much fuel was in the tank which was also different to when the low fuel warning light thought you were low, guess how I found out

fords 1.25 zetec is actually built by yamaha

Not strictly true...as I heard it anyway....They are Ford engines but they are tuned by Yamaha, and are therefore more powerful than the 1.3 engines offered by Ford!
