Oh... I'd of thought that with my gearbox being in the rear of the car that the reverse would be opposite.

Saying that it's been one of those days. haha

Having now removed the 2 pins & placed the KAD it's the orginal place but not all the way did. The reason for this was a test to see if it fitted.
I'm finding it hard to find reverse. It's finding 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th.. but not reverse.

Please note:- I did the above without the engine running.

I can't get over how "short" it's made the stick feel.

It just seems to be a VERY tight fit..I've a feeling i'll have to bag it into place with a hammer, it's that tight.

Is that correct?

My fear is not being able have to have/find reverse.

A tap or a few good cracks? lol

It feels tight, which i suppose is a good thing - Secure.

Also that might be why i can't find reverse the fact that the short shift itsn't in the correct position.

Don't have any experience with them myself but was looking at buying one,
If it's a newer one it says on the website that you need to lift the collar below the gearknob to select reverse?
This might be why you're having trouble?

;) I'm lifting up the collar. I've a feeling it's not selecting gear because the gear stick isn't in the correct position (all the way down)

i gave i firm tap a few times

I'll take some more photo's before i start going sick with a hammer.

Cheers

In the blitz you already have a cut off gear shift which makes it short, I suspect with the quichift kit on it'll be impossibly short ( unless you retain the std length of the stick ) and then the top of the stick may be uncomfortably high ?
