:(

I love the Mk1s >_<

They are like aeroplanes inside!

Jammy had one, it was the best, a right rust bucket by the time he got rid of it, but I loved it!! Handled brilliantly, stuck to the corners and roundabouts weeeeeeeeeeeee :( . We were driving to go shopping the other day and we saw a white one, just like his and I got all excited! they are legends of cars :dontgetit: I miss it

I like the Mk2s too because they look meaner :) but if they dont handle very well Im not interested *turns nose up and walks back to Mx5*

Hmmm well this thread just seems to confirm what I already thought!!!

I think once I graduate and get a job I may have to get one as a daily drive and keep Leeroy (hopefully) as my weekend car!!

I absolutely love them and I can't think of anything better...although have been tempted by the mk1 mx5's as well...

Thanks for the confirmation guys, I never knew a group of mini enthusiasts would be so persuasive in pushing me towards a different car!! haha!!! :)

If you have ever wonder how the japs could build a sports car that has road holding to a standard of Lotus, then word has it that the lads at Lotus did help abit with the MR2

Engine in wrong place springs easily to mind, but at least the MK1's had proper headlights.

What do you mean? Its not like its in the glove box

:)

Even though the engine is at the front, the differential to the rear and the rear-ward position of the seats means the MX5 still retains a sporty weight distribution. Dont knock them til you try them :dontgetit:
