If you continue with this build & finish her off, will it be the most rustiest & biggest project ever undertaken on the history of TMF? only other person I can think off is Matrix & his mini!

Oh gosh, i thought people did this quite regularly, well we will be seeing it through no doubt about that! We made a promise to the previous owners so we have to! :w00t:

I'm no expert but its probably not as bad as it looks. Still bloody good luck getting this beauty back to road going standard, need more people taking on projects like this to save the golden oldies!

Doesnt look too bad to be honest.
If you got rid of the bonnet and the frilly front valence, it would look like a normal restoration job. Those parts and a few other minor things give a much worse impression of the car.
IMO anyway, its maybe completely gassed underneath, but my initial impression from what I can see is that its not too bad. Certainly not a lot worse than my van was.

I'd like to put a bid in for tha title!! >_< :w00t: I've replaced/replacing about 50 body panels on my pickup project and that's just the body. I also converted it to outside hinges again from the internal hinges modification from the previous owner :sneaky: :P

No it really isn't bad at all, I'm surprised how good she looks considering she has been in a field for 10 years and not used for 20 years overrall. As far as the floors are concerned the back floors and front floors where they have rusted out from the sills (as it had oversills fitted >_< )and a little bit on roof gutter and some holes in the roof. to be honest it could be a hell alot worse considering where she has been.

Is this a non-wood version of the countryman?

(Still fairly new to minis) >_<
