we hope to take around 2 years to get this done, its a long time yu may say but currently its at my boyfriends parents house and we will only be spending every weekend getting it done as its a 45 min trip up there.
She needs inner and outer sills, rear floors (not boot), new front end, repairs to lower quaters and rear valance and repairs to the roof. The aim is to obviously use as much of the original car as possible, and refurbing old parts where we can instead of buying new. The boy is going round to the owner so i hope she has dug out some real goodies. I will probably post up some pictures if she gives us alot of treasure! X

Well the engine in there at the moment is a austin/morris 1100 engine, which the owner put in the late 70's along with a few other lovely mods. We will be keeping EVERYTHING that comes out of the countryman.

Here are some of the goodies she has given us.
along with the front numberplate.
Anyway, got her on some new wheels and its amazing the difference it makes!
My GT in the background all snuggly in her little blanket.
Here is a better picture of the engine bay, the husband was an engineer so tinkered a little...
Boot cleared out, surprisingly the wooden board is pretty intact and the bootfloor is also holeless. yay
We have sourced all the glass and panels we need by some very lovely and helpful people at our mini club which is super!
She is currently wrapped up in some tarpauling
