
Braided Brake Lines, Are They Worth It?

there is a package on eBay for £50 with everything in it that seems pretty good.
it includes:
discs
blackstuff pads
pad fitting kit
braided goodridge front lines
and caliper seal kits
linky
what are peoples thoughts?

I only changed mine because they had seized and failed MOT.

quick question ... can you clamp a braided hose like you can a rubber one???
No.
Most braided lines have a PTFE inner which is a stiff plastic pipe and cannot be crushed without damaging it.

that set looks good. get it for the front, if you havnt got disks at the back dont convert, just get new shoes drums and fitting kit for the back. when changing over the hoses watch out for the union pipe it conects onat the subframe. these can seize and are easily rounded off.
