i will be changing the discs and pads very soon, and was wondering if it was worth changing to goodridge briaded line while im at it?

there is a package on eBay for £50 with everything in it that seems pretty good.

it includes:

discs
blackstuff pads
pad fitting kit
braided goodridge front lines
and caliper seal kits

linky

what are peoples thoughts?

cheers

That's the setup i have on mine and i'm very happy. I would also add stainless pistons to the list as well. If you're changing the seals which is a lady dog of a job, then i recomend it. One tip - when fitting the new seals fit the inner ones FIRST as directed in the instructions and dont rush fitting the rings. I used 4 rings on 1 caliper!!

I'm thinking i might just order this setup on minispares. But without the new seals, as i don't have time to take the car of the road to replace the seals and pistons not to mention they aren't leaking anyway.

Not to mention its cheaper and i get discount too

Good plan. It's not a job i want to do again in a hurry.

I only changed mine because they had seized and failed MOT.

No.

Most braided lines have a PTFE inner which is a stiff plastic pipe and cannot be crushed without damaging it.

that set looks good. get it for the front, if you havnt got disks at the back dont convert, just get new shoes drums and fitting kit for the back. when changing over the hoses watch out for the union pipe it conects onat the subframe. these can seize and are easily rounded off.
