Ha ha, offroading sounds better than playing with the shocks.

I think if its not much trouble see if having the shocks on opposite sides help at all.

yeah its only a matter of 2 nuts to change the shock so will have a go.

decisions decisions: do i go for carbon fibre miglias with gel coat to paint OR carbon fibre showing weave?

still no reply about the beam axle yet, they better answer me or i may send another email but this abusive lol

had a reply from an engineering company with a quote for the custom driveshafts and its not as expensive as i thought it would be for standard road material...still not cheap though >_<

i can pick up my subby from alsspeed from next thursday, they a week or so later i have 2 weeks hliday so hoping to have the engine mounted and running by the end of that.

going to mini spares in a min, and was wondering is it best to use rose jointed tie arms and botom arms for the k series conversion? this seems to be what allspeed sell for their other frames

going to pick up the subframe tomorrow afternoon so should be able to fit the engine and sort bits out over easter :D

on another note, finally heard back from huddersfield, after 2 1/2 weeks and 2 emails. they sent an email to say 'could you send us a phone number'. 2 1/2weeks to ask for a phone number, why couldnt they just write what they want to say in the email? >:)

seriously considering tubbing and turreting the rear arches for a bit more clearance and strentgh for the coilovers, but unfortunately i dont have the skills to do it

is there any mini specialists in herts that would be competant of doing this.....or anyone local that would be willing? ;)

yep its taken a while but finally starting to get somewhere ;) i no longer like them either, this was the first product i've bought from them, and the last. i should of seen it as a bad sign when i couldnt understand what the huddersfield bloke was saying at bingley lol

fitted with rose jointed bottom arms and tie rods

just rested the front on to see how it sits. the fg front needs some adjustments to the bottom of the front panel area, but it has been a problem area since i bought it. moulded badly.
