no need to worry about people in the back...chopped out the seat lol only going to have a drivers seat most of the time aswell. dont want any excess weightlikin that alot with coilovers always have 2 finger space between the wheel and the arch i find even with fat buggers in the back still go over bumps at 80

the main part of the zcars dash, was a really good fit. only needed minor adjustment to fit, most adjustment was straightening up the door seams lol
my digidash mounted in the dash pod. just need to work out what type of switches to use? original rocker type, toggles, or some small round rockers?
also took this yesterday to show how much space is between the tyre and rear quarter. had to remove the fg arches as the tyres are rubbing on them
i was looking at the beam axle earlier and i may have found another small issue. it has a bar going across at the bottom (think its strengthening or anti roll bar?) but it goes in front of the exhaust tunnel so the exhaust may have to go lower. it would then most likely scrap the floor lots as the car will be rather low

Keep up with the good work Also, have you thought about tubbing the rear arches (It will look even higher at the back with no arches but gives you more travel when its that low)

Thank you, thats a great help.

no problem. i have considered tubbing the arches but i dont have the skills to do it, and cant really afford to have someone else do the work
it will have arches on when finished, just need some wider ones as wheels will have to be spaced to stop them rubbing on the coils. looking at either miglias or group 7's?
what do people think?

Id get onto huddersfield spares about the beam axle, thats bad. Id say its close on dangerous it bending and you havent driven it.
Are you running spacered rear drums?

From this picture it looks like if you swap sides it will move the coils further away from the wheels and towards the body?
*Note*
This could be utter twoddle and no use

Silly question (never seen or used coilovers) do you have the coilovers on the right side?
From this picture it looks like if you swap sides it will move the coils further away from the wheels and towards the body?
*Note*

as far as i know i dont think they have a specific side. the top pin is offset to move the top further away from the body work to allow the coil to fir as they have a larger diameter than a standard style shock. but now you've said that i'm going to check tomorrow when im down there lol

Did you find out anything about this?
hada quick look but teh only offset piece i could see was the top pin, which can be turned whilst on the shock so can be used on either side. didnt spend to long looking as went offroading with my mate in his land rover with no roof.. then it started to rain and hail, so we carried on driving lol
