Hello,

I've just bought a Mini-based buggy called Moonbug and produced by Siva between 1970 and 1976. It was also named "Siva Skyspeed".

Posted Image

As only 94 cars were produced, I'm looking for any information regarding those rare cars and I'd like to do a census in order to have an idea about how many of them are still on the roads today. The goal is to create a kind of database with all owners listed with their buggy.

In order to success in this project, I've just created a website dedicated to Siva Bugs:

www.siva-buggies.com

I also have a Mini-based three wheeler called Mosquito. I've created a website 2 years ago also in order to make a census and with time and patience, I've had very good feedbacks. (www.mosquito-triad.com)

Please, have a look at my Siva website and send the link to all your contacts interested in Minis or in buggies. It could help me a lot.

Thank you very much in advance,

Damien

Well I've never seen one of them before.... I suppose if you did see one at a glance you'd think it were based on a VW not a mini...

Good luck in your search... may also be worth registering it on http://www.minisreunited.com ( little plug for my own site >_< )

I've seen 2 moonbugs in Holland over the years. The first one is this light blue one

The other one is the purple one as seen on your website, it also visited the IMM/35year anniversary in Gaydon if memory's not fooling me.

I could trace the light blue one if it's not on your list allready, the pic was taken in the summer of 2007.

52 of the 96 pieces build in Holland, are still in Holland, according to the owner of the light blue one (scroll down on that page): http://www.autobedri...estauratie.html

He can be contacted here: [email protected]

Hi i have one of these buggies, a yellow one. I have been working on it and fully restored. It has a 1275 gt engine. It is in exellent condition. I am looking at selling it, have you any ideas on how much it would be worth? I have plenty of photos if you want to have a look at it?
