My 1978 Wood and Pickett has been in storage for the last 17yrs and at some point the front grille and lights have been stolen. I've been trying to find a replacement for a while as it doesnt look as nice with the standard Clubman grille/lights. The toe-rags also damaged the 1/4 light window latch, which I guess will be even more fun to track down.

Try asking w&p for advice. Once parts are established you are probably looking at an autojumble to source.

Off hand I think the grille/headlight assembly was Vauxhall based from a Victor or Ventora maybe?
Quarterlights possibly Innocenti?

Good Luck.

Likeminifunclub said the grille came from a vauxhall
a Victor FD like this one

They were cut down so if you cant find a proper Wood and Picket one try and find a Victor FD and cut it down :)

Oh my dad owned one of those back in the early 70's, in green though.

I think you'll have trouble locating a spare grille today?

Even the Victors are virtually impossible to find thesedays :shifty:
If you find one with a good grille it would probably be better buying the whole car

Either Way buying a Genuine Wood n Pickett Grille or even buying a full length Victor one isnt going to be cheap

You could try this site? Its a long shot but gotta Worth a Try?

I know that GC Mini's in Swanley have a Wood & Pickett Mini Margrave (whatever that is).

Could be useful if you need to see one in person to measure etc.. CLICK

There are victor or ventora based for certain.

I have a spare one, if you are interested. They are not cheap sadly.

PM me if you are interested.

It's a drag car with road legal tyres, there's a few others as well - run in the Street Machine, (I think), class at Santa Pod, the cars have to run on normal pump unleaded so they all go on a cruise on the Saturday evening, (after qualifying), to fill up, then run the finals on Sunday on the same pump fuel.
