Took my radius arms to get the brass bushes reamed. Found a decent garage locally to do the work, which they did same day so I collect them just before tey closed. My radius arms have probably cost me £70 all in including the powdercoating, which I'm pretty happy about.
Now to get them on the car. Roll on the weekend!

Bodywork looks very good and should be a car to last you for a good length of time to come.

Those shoes are in wrong. Theres a leading edge on them. One of them needs to be the reverse of the other, there is a gap at the top of the shoe that is facing towards the front of the car, the other shoe, facing away from the front, is the reverse, with the gap at the bottom.

Well, today we have hit a milestone in my project. As those of you who've been following will know, Ive been really keen on getting it on it's wheels. I'm moving house and need to move the car so its pretty urgent. Well today.......... it's on its wheels! For the first time since July 2007 I now have the car sitting the way Austin intended. Albeit temporarily. I have to change the shoes as described above, and haven't managed to swap the front shock mounts around. I've also discovered that the rear subframe has a nut missing where the camber bracket mounts, so eventually the whole rear subframe will have to come off again to sort that. The funny thing was I started randomly pushing it around the car park, just because I can!
Anyway, I'll stop waffling and let the pics do the talking. They're not the best pics as I ran out of light. Will get some better ones soon.

Keep up the fantastic work. I wish I had the same drive as you right now to get out there and get my car finished, it's in a bit of a sorry state right now, 4 wheels, but on axel stands, struggling with the brake pipes.

It's Old English White by the way Imaparana.
Once my house move is over with I'm getting out in the garage to do all the little jobs I've bypassed to just focus on getting on 4 wheels. I've got loads of little bits to finish, which will take loads of time but make no difference to the way it looks!
My alloys could do with a polish so I'll probably get them done when they come off again.
Little jobs are as follows;
Sort out rear brake shoes.
Get front subframe bolted in properly
Sort out the nut for rear subframe camber bracket (this is gonna be a pig!)
Swap front shock mounts the right way around
Finish the wiring connections and tidy up wiring.
Sort out rear light wiring and speedo connections.
Fit handbrake cable so I at least have 1 brake on the car!
Fit rear shocks.
Fit windscreen filets front and rear (if anyone has a tool for this I could borrow that would be much appreciated!)
Clean up brake/clutch cylinders
Sort out wiring for rear heated screen.
Now I look at it that's quite a list! After that it's engine in, brakes sorted (wishing for 4 pots, hope my bank balance can stretch), a couple of seats in the front and I'm away.......... well, almost!

Not on the internet at the moment so updates will be few and far between, but bear with me.

Just one question, is it better to fit the radiator to the engine before i fit the engine to the car, or can i do it afterwards?
