OR if its smoking so bad you need to travel at 60+ so the smoke goes from the dashboard out the window and you can see where your going

OR if your metro cant go around a corner without spinning in the roadstill makes me laugh now

I dont know about that. We had a great time on the way there and the way back when i went. Depends who you go with i suppose?The drive there is mind numbingly boring tho
I wouldn't say the drive there or back is "boring" not when your with us, I mean this year we had cars breaking down, head gaskets going (this year it wasn't mine) and cars smoking (ok THIS was me) and we had quite a good bit of banter on the radios.

Hey guys - didn't mean to upset anyone with the 'boring drive' comments. It wasn't a reflection of either run, it was just my view on travelling on a long, long motorway through france, belgium and germany! For me it just got a bit tedious driving in a straight line for so long (especially on a motorbike).
The ring was quite scary on a motorbike - so really looking forward to it in a car - whoever I manage to go with
