And the year before that we had two guys with 2 mini shortys trailer them to and from the ring, again on a different ferry.
Only downside to taking a trailer is that you have to do 60mph (iirc) along all the motorways when everyone else is off at 70+ (on euro roads).

Last year Alan (dekz2uk) took his "mini-caravan) but organised his own ferry due to the price being a lot more with the company bh2nRetro went with.

Sod it, I'll take one and tear up the Autobahn!!!!! The little trailer on the front page looks fun.
So if someone could break it down for me, what exactly happens, places, stop overs etc.

I really think this may be bigger than last year, when we say retro we really ask everyone to try and come to Germany in a mini, but hey we all know minis if the schit hits the fan and your lost for a car at the moment then steal your mums golf covertable and do the run!! i mean it is a great time made by strangers in the most remote Race track / nordschleife..in the world!! we get together drink a few, hangout nights round the campsite / fire and just have a laugh!! let me just say this trip isnt only about the mini / retro theme, there are other things going on, like we plan the first weekend in September at this time on the GP track is a weekend full of Superbike GP action...i dont think i need to say more but for a little more than fifty euros you get a weekend ticket INC friday al in full look round ticket of every tribune and the pitstop..its like free walking round your perfect day...
This will be the 5th year...we have our regulars, and we will get lots of new comers...i really cant wait!!
Best wishes and Merry Christmas everyone

Arrive at Charloroi book into hotel and find somewhere to eat.

Thursday; Get up and head down the bumpy pot hole-laden roads to germany.
Arrive at campsite, pitch tents go to Lidl (your best friend whilst in germany) get beer and food.
Drink and hear Alburglars storys and meet Legh (Barnett - him up there ^^^^)
Friday - Monday you do what you want really. chill, go to the track, go to the castle, karting (if its open/built) museum (again if its open/built) etc etc
Tuesday and the following wednesday are pretty much the first two days i put up but obviously in reverse order (that doesn't mean driving backwards)
Heres a link to Christians "on going" write up on RCC it might give you a bit more of an idea as it was Christians first trip on bh2nRetro this year (I think I can safely say he enjoyed it, other than the Cavi playing up at times);

Hope that helps a bit more.

its all there for everyone...people who just want to get away, people who like camping, people who have a break from normal stress, people like me who can escape for 6 days without the wife and kids ( i love em but hey thats beside the point...)

Just a few pictures to tickle your pickle for next year!!
