Loving it Shtiggy! Is this early start, so you can get some laps in before you do a complete engine rebuild in a field?
did not break down first or second year just the 3rd with a cracked head
and last year the 4th year just had to remove gearbox and replace a seal in the middle of the field lol
no this year am just going to go round and round and round and round ( then fall over dizzy)

Upside, as always, are....
Leaky Box can be replaced (also for a better ratio)
Sticky valve wont be there anymore
I dont have to change the bastid water pump

I can source a 1.8 instead (funds allowing)
For this year, ill mostly be driving 400hp 6-cylinder Right wheel drive goodness.

I appreciate your kind words matt

I told you it'd work out. Expensive-ish.. but worth it.
Picked up a freelander 1.8k 41,000 miles @ £350 delivered.
MGF TF quick rack @ £42 delivered . brings it down from 3.6 to 2.8 turns lock to lock
Rover metro 1.1 R65 Gearbox @ £50 delivered. 3.5:1FD instead of 4.2:1FD... no more 70@4100rpm!!
So far its worked out nicely. Im still carless. but at this rate, she'll be ready again in the next week or so.
