Officially it's the genuine, factory production line built Cooper S Traveller. Around 7 were made I think, or it may have been even fewer.

621 AOK
621 AOK is one of the most famous Minis around. It was the first ever Mini, and was fully built on May 8th 1959. It then rolled off the production line on the 26th August 1959 from Longbridge.

Last Ever Mini
This is the last ever Mini made by Rover. It was Flame Red, silver roof and bonnet stripes, 1275cc engine, with a 5 speed gearbox. It is also on display at "Gaydon Heritage Museum". The Mini had a lot of the press around it when i rolled of the production line, its picture in nearly all the news-papers.

I would have thought the first or last one, or even a really rare LE. Not sure though.

Me I know nothing.

are we talking rare as in least made on production? or rare as in how many we built in that model? or value? - surely rare is the least amount made in production - otherwise there were loads of one-offs which are all rare, their value is as much as someone would pay for them.

there were hand built prototypes before AOK, i believe they are in Japan. But then AOK is a 59 Mini so is it that rare in comparison to other LEs? Also, what about colours, some colours were rare too - and are we talking about Minis still around now? in that case how many Citys and Mayfairs are left in standard? all mostly modded now...??

I think the last Mini was 'Solar Red' wasn't it? Rover had stopped painting them Flame Red a few years earlier.

I didn't know the last Mini had a 5 speed box?

I can't believe that's true?

Anyway yes the Mini 850 and Mini 1000 models are now pretty rare, as few have survived in original form.

Even the one in this months Mini Mag buying guide has a glass sunroof fitted.
