Right i have my group5 and tried them up to the car butm unsure of where to start!!! I expected a poor fit but im only 90% sure i have them on the right way lol

Has anyone got any pics fitted or in proccess of fitting? There seems to be a big gap when looking from underneath near the heel board etc. i.e you can see the bodywork when your on your hand and knees which you couldnt with standard arches, Also unsure how much i can bend them to get a better fit?

Sorry if that makes no sense :D

Pic of rear arc going to trim rear slightly and try and get wheel more in centre,

Front arch pretty much were it should sit? Did not like how you can see a-panel but looking around at pics it seems inevitable, Paint black between arch line?

Couple more shots also shows my new wella centre caps £10 +VAT from minispares which i thought was a bit of a bargain!!

I had group 5 euros and they were a pig. Might have been the quality of them but they had to be bent a bit and the bit which meets the car had to be sanded to get it to meet as much as poss. The black fill strip which goes between the arch and car will hide alot of the gaps if not too big. How are you fitting them to the car? I used rivnuts and was quite hard to get on the car but when on the arches look nice :dontgetit: Alot of people fit these arches with the front bumper removed like mine. Am sure with a bit of a play you can make it look good. Just keep at it and you'll get it looking nice

Not sure yet how im going to fasten them, Mine have holes for screws which i was going to use but they will need to be pretty strong as like you say they need a bit of bending. Thanks for the pics as it sort of confirms what i thought about bending them into place my first pic of rear arch does look odd but will bend so wheel sits in center.

Mine are race rather than euro so i dont have the front wrapping round the front panel and the rear stops at bumper seam so should be a bit easier to fit.

You have done a great job with yours all credit to you looks the nuts >_<

Thanks, it took quite a while with lots of shouting and swearing but got there in the end. All my efforts are on my project page under my sig. you can see what I went through with the fiberglass issues on the car.

As for fitting yours, Alot of people use self tappers. Personally I don't like the idea as they cut into the paint and if you have to take them off at any point it'll damage the hole and rust will be in there like a shot. I think you can use hex bolts with rivnuts which should look nice. People use alan key style bolts when fitting miglia arches so that's something to look into. After all you want it looking best and not having to worry about rusty holes.

Did you ever sort out the back arch? I seem to have the same issue with mine.
