It should only take a garage about an hours labour to do it, or buy the filler tool from mini spares (under £5 i think) and a bit of string an you can do it easily yourself.

If you mean the the back rear and not side rear glass it is easy enough to tackle yourself. Allow yourself a full day as you may find a spot of rust is the reason for the leaking. Remove the chrome filler strip and push the glass from the inside in one of the top corners - a friend to catch it if it pops out would be handy. Refitting is the reverse, you'll need something to lever the rubber and filler strip with - teaspoon handles work well as does washing up liquid as lube. Do your best to push the filler strip as you fit it - you nearly always end up with a lil bit left over at the end

ok cool i think i might try do it myself save me some money as ill have to get the back side ones done too which will be easy enough to do, i only noticed this morning that there is a gap in the seal at the bottom near the heather so i think thats the problem, so need to get it done asap as in this weather my back seats get soaked from the amount of damp in the back
thank you lots for your advice

lift out the seat base

Peel out 6 inches of the filler strip 'n have a go at refitting it - will give you an idea of what's involved.
