Cant find my mini handbook and have a RED WARNING LIGHT ON THE DASH.
It looks like an exclamation mark with a squiggle underneath it and (!) around it

Its a red light (!) with a squiggle underneath
the handbrake one is without the squiggle this is not a handbrake light

yes, that light can mean that the fluid is low as well,
the other option is the flat tyre warning light

This?
Usually indicates a problem with the brakes!!
Like insufficient amount of fluid caused by a leakage.
If it lights up you should:
- not drive it anymore
- inspect your brakes carefully for leakages
- especially the rear brake cylinders
If you can't find any leakage (rear cylinders must be completely DRY to be ok), check the wiring
You can push the switch to check if the warninglight in it is still working.

Jan
