Or swap two of the ht leads around so it continually misfires but still runs and drive round with the choke all the way out all the time.

It will then spit flames all day long, but won’t drive very well or be very kind on the engine, but hay at least you’ll be cool with your mini spitting flames.

It’s also illegal and dangerous for any car to spit flames and won’t go down well with the boys in blue, so don’t expect any favours when you get caught.

I have this on my HL. It was there when I bought it so I have yet to try it out til an engine goes in. But as far as I'm aware you can just put a spark plug in the tailpipe with an HT lead coming on connecting to a switch on the dash.

it has to use a gas before the spark plug in the exhaust so it has something to ignite.. you cant ignite exhaust fumes! haha think about it, on the other hand if you can throw enough unburnt fuel down your exhaust from your engine!? unless you want bore wash thats not a very good idea now is it.. its not a good idea and looks ******* unless you watch kill bill to much and read busty asian beautys and want to star in too fast to furious.. ha

Well obviously I'm sure we all know you have to ignite fuel.

It may be for show purposes for all you know. If he wants to do it let him, he asked for help, not your opinion.

You can get them that are just a spark plug, HT lead and coil. There doesn't need to be a fuel sprayed in there, it just ignites the unburnt fuel coming out of the exhaust with the fumes. It wont cause bore wash, there is always unburnt fuel coming out of the exhaust. Mini engines aren't the most efficient engines. You get most of the unburnt fuel coming through on the over-run.

you also need a electronic module between the switch and the coil, these are readily available on ebay, just search under 'exhaust flamer' this is where i bought mine from :(

I make my own flame kits up all I do is run a wire from the negative on the coil to a switch in the car then from the switch to the boot, I fit a mini coil in the boot and put the wire from the switch to the negative on that coil. I fit an ignition live to the positive side of th coil, run a plug lead from coil out the gromit in the boot floor to the exhaust, I have a spark plug tap so I tap a nut with the right thread then weld it on the exhaust it can be welded before or after the back box it doesnt matter. Fit the plug in the exhaust start the engine give it a rev, switch the switch on and pump the throttle, by .wiring it this way it drops the front coils voltage makes the car run rich as its not sparking very strong and pours fuel down the exhaust it works well, Ive done this on minis on sierra cossies rs turbos and the best flames to be seen was on my peugeot 205 mi16 about 8 ft. Ive never had a problem doing this, some people say it will burn the points out but I didnt have a problem, I say give it a buzz, I put 1 on just_jacks mini and he loved it.
