Hi!

In the sales section (eBay) was an interesting discussion about the ERA's wheel and the Rover pendant.
I think it's too interesting to leave it there and not start another topic.

It is said, that the ERA and Rover wheel only differ in the design of the middle cap { (E)®(A) vs. =MINI= }.

The ERA Minis were built in the 80's.
The Rover wheel appears in the MPI's accesory brochure, for example here, page 5:

The ERA wheel is marked 'Trackstar 6.0x13 ET15' and is made by Compomotive (written under the centre cap!).

I don't know yet of Rovers version as I have not seen it in the flesh yet.
Does anybody own the Rover/Mini wheel and could provide any further information?

It looks like there were at least two version of the Rover wheel around!

Look at the valve's position... The first is the one from the MPI brochure.
The second is from the ebay-thread. Both look the same, exept of the valve's position.

Regards,
Jan
