Depends which ones...

The WIPAC freeform replacement H4's are completely road legal... as shown here http://mra-minis.co....products_id=205

Others may not be E marked therefore not road legal, but may pass an MOT if they have good quality bulbs which produce the correct dipped pattern... I've had H4 replacement lenses which have failed not due to the lenses but substandard bulbs which were provided with them.

Quick question regarding MOT's, do you need reverse lights to work?
Mine used to come on when I was driving, so I just took the bulbs out...

You probably already know, but you will also need rear reflectors of some sort. I think the ULTRA ones comes with two small red circle reflectors.

Mine went through without the reflecters not being fitted m.o.t station never said a word.
I suppose if they want to be funny they can fail it on no reflecters.
