recently bought new door seals and rear side window selas but they do not fit, the door seal is about an inch too short on both doors and the window seals the bit that would fit onto the lip of the window frame is on the inside of the seal and yes i tried twisting it around but then found that the rubber seal was too big and would not fit, bought these from minispares if you need to know, any help or sugestions?

Door seals are meant to have a gap (bar I think MPi ones). Try to get the gap to line up with the drainage hole at the bottom of the door.
As for window seals, they are tight. I suggest taking the windows out (if we're on about rear opening ones) to make life simpler.

door selas have gaps in them built into the rubber but i literally mean the rubber seal is too short and they do not meat each other
and my opening windows were out but as i said, they were way too big and the wrong way round i.e. what i was on bout with the bit that would go around lip of window frame being on the inside of the rubber not outside

Your supposed to fit the rear window seals onto the car and knock them tight into all the corners and then trim it off half an inch overlap at the middle and put the end in and knock down for a tight fit.

I got my windows and door seals from minispares too - I think i may have have to cut the door seal but not much but the rear window was fine. You just have to force it into place.
And about them being the wrong way round - Your probably just putting it in the wrong window?

replacement door steps would effect the fit - see how the door sits without the seal, you may decide a bit of body modding would give a better fit. I'd also think there's a bit of stretch in the seals if needed.

well on both doors i had a section of door step cut out and matched with an exact same size piece to weld in, also i have noticed now that the passenger door now (only slightly) hits the door frame above the the thing that the door locks to, not badly but enuf that its scratched my new paint
i will try stretching the dor seals
is there any way of shifting the door back up to stop it hitting the frame?

The door seals now fit and still havent gotten round to using a rubber mallet for rear seals
but i am still concerned about the passenger door sagging and hitting the door frame
