How is he hype

He came into the series a total f1 noob and one of our youngest drivers and clinched 2nd place championship in his first season. Another season later and he wins the title. F1s youngest ever winner. That takes some serious talent IMO. He's an amazing role model, a family man and and best of all a BRITISH f1 winner. We don't have much to be proud of in this country these days but at least we can still drive the fastest. Woot woot go Hamilton

i agree with Monkeyhugger, you dont get points and win championships on hype, it does take talent

Much too be proud of? What you onna about we've got immigrants .

Sure hes an F1 Newbie, But when you've been driving Singles Seaters Aslong as him the change from GP2 To Formula 1 wont seem half as dramatic if he had come from touring cars for example.
He Is Talented, Theres No Doubting that, but he has been hyped up to the extremes, he isnt that good. Theres drivers in V8 Touring cars That could be as quick as him if they had been testing In Winter aslong as him, hes a newby to the series if your talking about the races, but hes No Noob to the cars in general, The amount of Testing Mclaren Did at Catalunya 2 years ago was unreal compared to the other teams.

He has the raw talent and a general "nack" for it, a bloody big nack too. Now he's got two seasons under his belt and a championship win he can only improve if Mclaren keep up the pace. Big ups for Lewis and the Mclaren team, they've done superb

He IS british. He was born here, went to school here, worked here and has a home here. Why isn't he British?

Good points there, i cant really Argue with that, but i think he has been rushed into Formula 1 So that Mclaren could get all the records they know hold, If had Started this year he would have had alot more experience from his GP2 racing, therefor would have had alot more of a chance in his first season and he might have avoided some of the noob mistakes he made in his first season.

On what basis has he been rushed into Formula 1? You're saying he wasn't good enough when he started right? Someone that podiumed in his first NINE races isn't good enough? No one else has ever done that, so by your criteria no one has ever been good enough and they've all been rushed. He should have won the title in his first season and he would have won the title this year weeks ago if it wasn't for the biased tinkering of the FIA.

So i suppose my Joke was Racist because It just so happens Hamilton is black, It Was not aimed at him in anyway. The amount of times ive heard 'you just dont like him because he's black' Is pathetic, his colour doesnt bother me at all, for all i care he could be blue, i would still feel the same.

He Has been rushed into Formula 1, You think He Was Ready to Start racing in of the quickest formula's of motorsport, In one of the quickest cars with the experience he had?
Most otherer Drivers Learned from Other teams like Minardi and they work up through to get them a decent position at a decent team, jumping straight from a completely different race series into front running cars in one of the quickest championships is no way to introduce a driver.
