Once again, the ITV team fail to pick up on little things, such as Hamilton definitely slacking in the middle part of the race - if he kept his pace up for the whole race he wouldn't have been in the position he was in on the last lap.

Massa drove beautifully, a real shame he didn't win this year as for me he is the driver of the season - and if it wasn't for his reliability issues, would have won the championship easily. Hamilton on the other hand, whilst good, is far too aggressive on track and locks his wheels up far too often. A lot of drivers don't like racing against him as some of his moves are quite unsporting.

Anyway, all is over now for another year, an absoloutely fantastic race, and bring on next year!
Heidfeld for '09?

They did pick up on it. They said a couple of times that they thought he might have turned down his engine a little because he was in the position he had to be in, and the engine was on its second race. In fact they kept saying it wasn't too much of a problem if Vettel caught him and overtook him, because he was in 4th at the time.

Really sorry to see Massa lose the championship, definitely deserved it, but then so did Hamilton in equal measure though for different reasons.

Most the F1 greats have been 'aggressive' and 'unsporting' on the track, its how you bully past people and finish the race in front of them.

Was good to see the Ferrari faces when they were celebrating and then realised Glock had been passed though!

What a race.
I Was at my nans shouting at the tellybox, Couldnt handle it. Massa deserved the championship, if he drives a ferrari, thats irrelevant, Hes had many great drives this year and he has such a better personality for the sport than others*
What an ending :S i was actually in tears when Hamilton Took it, Im way too paissonate about F1 lol.
Im in mixed feelings at the moment, Sure its great that A brit Is An FIA Formula 1 World champion again, but did he really deserve it? Hes all hype and i think he doesnt really live up to what everybodys saying, Massa really should have won the championship in my opinion.

It brought a tear to my eye when lewis and his brother hugged in the paddock! I think its fantastic how he hasnt forgotton his routes, and is still close to his brother and his dad, as said above, great role model! he knows what he wants, he knows how to get it, and hes gone out and got it!

Ill Also Just Add What a shame It Is Too See DC out in his last Race. Hes done a great job in what-ever car hes been driving, hes had a great career, and although he didnt finish his last ever race, at least he finished his career in a nice way, at a Team he clearly loves working for and with. Cheers for Entertaining us all them years David

Vettel Was Great, He didnt have to put a move on the Mclaren, But im wondering if he did it Because Hes also in a ferrari? Maybe to try and advantage Massa, Maybe not, he probably just did it because he knows how to keep us bitting our nails till the very end.

Dare i say it, the Horse Was Prancing Proudly out of my Bedroom windows all weekend

Yay, someone else who shares my opinion!
A lot of the people in the motorsport society here at Uni also think along the same lines...Hamilton is media hype indeed. In the same car, I get the feeling that Massa would beat him.

Massa did drive beautifully, He really should've got it. I agree with you on the agression bit, Thinking about it, its his driving style and it definatly seems to work for him, but i dont think it suits Formula 1 at all, that doesnt really make scence, But formula 1 Has always been about Smooth Consistant Driving, And If You Compared Onboard Camera Angles of Hamilton and say, Vettel, at the first corner, Hamilton looks very Twitchy and way too agressive like when he was trying to pass the Toyotas At corner 1 and 2 For Example, He Thinks the Move has to be done at that exact moment, He Clearly Lost time taking alot slower line by overtaking the toyotas into the corner, If He Had waited till the first straight he would have took them both anyway, and wouldnt half lost half as much time, he would have had a better line into the next corner aswell.

Haha yehh, Like Robbie Kerr did at Brands Hatch In April, that was an amazing race aswell. Wonder why they dont do that the end of the season in f1? Probably have to test the engines Or Somthing To see if theres any Cheating going on  lol.

What about the Honda Letting go At the end haha? At least it didnt do it in the race, that would be a real shame for Jenson, ma main man :w00t:. Honda Formula 1 Is on the way forward, cant wait till next season to see what they un-veil, will be buying autosport to get an early peak hehe

How is he hype :w00t: :w00t:

He came into the series a total f1 noob and one of our youngest drivers and clinched 2nd place championship in his first season. Another season later and he wins the title. F1s youngest ever winner. That takes some serious talent IMO. He's an amazing role model, a family man and and best of all a BRITISH f1 winner. We don't have much to be proud of in this country these days but at least we can still drive the fastest. Woot woot go Hamilton   :gimme: :w00t:
