It Wasnt a Kart, his dad Bought him a 50cc Yamaha Pit bike which started it all of, he used to take him to a disused airport to ride it, But Being Jenson, that wasnt fast enough and he soon got bored. So they went to the London motorshow where John Button bumped into some of his old buddys that he competed against in rally and got told they had a kart for sale. So he payed for it there and then, and John was teaching Jenson The basics of Karting at Clay Pigeon kart track just a few weeks after!.

wasnt it a birthday present, and he got fed up with it in a hour or so because it was so slow, so his dad had to take the regulator off for him, and it still wasnt fast enough!?

So today is deadline day, although if Ferrari et al don't sign up by the end of the day I wonder if the FIA would stop them doing so next week...

All the current teams (except Williams who had already said they are going to take part, earning them banishment from FOTA!) have submitted conditional entries. The condition being that the technical regulations remain the same as this year. See here for details!

Well it's all kicking off now.

I can't tell if this is genuine or if it is just the teams throwing some weight around in the general debate of it all. I can;t help but feel that it could be a really good move if they did it properly, though...

its about time they ditched Bernie Ecclestone and Max Mosley.

also maybe we will still see the new race series staying at silverstone where the F1 should be next year

Personally I'm not too worried about Eccles, he doesn't come across as such a pompass, arrogant arse that Mosley does.

I'd love to see a breakaway series OR Mosley step down. I agree that Mosley has done nothing but ruin F1 with all his meddling.
