I KNEW BUTTON WOULD BE WINNING

Go button! I could see it coming. Hamilton has had his lime light and lost it

I <3 LOVE JENSON

seconded.

sorry to inform you but you are incorrect >_<

I am really pleased button is doing well as i would support anybody brittish but i cannot see him winning the WDC, my prediction is it will go to vettel. i think brawn will have the constructors sewn up though. Button has such a smooth driving style that when he has a superior car and is out in front he is untouchable (similar to kimi) but when the teams catch them up if they haven't already (red bull) then i just dont think he is good enough to scrap.

oh and watch out hamilton will be making a comeback sooner than you think, big upgrades for monaco and the team are progressing quickly

I have to say I'm impressed with Button so far. I honestly thought he would have made one or two mistakes so far, but when he's been leading he's been faultless. I have to say I agree with wakkoboi to some extent, I'm going to reserve judgement on Button until I see him scrapping for a win.

I think the generally slower pace round Monaco will even things out considerably on the Aero front for the next race, I can see it being a lot closer for all of the teams. Lets not forget, that up until Raikonnen saw the red mist last year, Force India were about to take home a nice few points.

I can see the Brawn and Red Bull cars getting much more involved in scraps around the track

The Mercedes engine is built in Brixworth, Northamptonshire - how much more British do you want?

True, but Monaco is infamous for having no passing points. Even if all the all the cars are bunched up and Brawn find themselves unable to pull away I still can't see there being much overtaking. However I look forward to eating my words! ;D

Cosworth are apparently favourites to win the tender if there is to a common engine used in all teams in a season or two. How many teams will be left if those rules come to fruition is yet to be seen!

Do you live near Clay kart track then?

Jenson isnt even thinking about winning the title himself, hes looking to monaco, not looking too far ahead and keeping his cool. Personally, i think he will win the championship, and after many painful seasons watching him do badly, i think i will cry if he wins it, he deserves it, hes a great driver and a lovely bloke.

What happens monaco is irrelevant to the rest of the season really, its such a different track to the rest that the cars will be set up in a way which is so far out from the normal set up that its not belivable. Getting a good grid position will be vital, but i think we will see alot of "2nd class" teams well ahead of the rest at monaco because there cars will be more suited, brawn and the other front running teams wont want to change the cars in such a way that they cant compare telemtry from other weekends to see how the engine and other parts are doing so they wont be so quick, but its defintaly going to provide some excellent motorsport.

Ferrari are seeking an injunction against the proposed budget caps and rule changes in the French courts, yet Max still denies that F1 is in crisis.

We are proposing logical conditions to Mosley. I want to make it clear that the teams are Formula One, the international federation should simply be the referee. We should write the rules, not have them imposed by Max without speaking to anyone.

For once I actually agree with Flavio!

Ferrari have lost their case, will it be 2010 without them?

just read it...... so they have lost their case against the budget cap all together. is there still any chance they could raise the cap to bring it down gradually? and at least the FIA have decided to try and move away from the two tier organisation.

What will ferrari and the other teams do now? if ferrari and renault both leave then there arent going to be many engines to choose from...

"Wirth Research, Lola, USF1, Epsilon Euskadi, RML, Formtech, Campos, iSport: these are the names of the teams which would compete in the two-tier Formula One wanted by Mosley"
"Can a world championship with teams like them - with due respect - have the same value as today's Formula One, where Ferrari, the big car manufacturers and teams, who created the history of this sport, compete?
"Wouldn't it be more appropriate to call it Formula GP3?"

They may have a point, but it does also smack a little bit of snobbery. Why are they so afraid of the budget cap, do they think these smaller teams might end up beating them if on a level playing field?
