I don't remember them using that! I had a few years out of F1 (I worked on Sundays lol) so must have missed it. I can only remember that whatever ITV used when they took it over annoyed me because it wasn't Fleetwood Mac, and then all I remember is the current track, Lift Me Up.

I've just set The Chain as my ringtone :D

I thought i would add my thoughts to this thread after reading some of the comments posted by other forum users.

I fully agree that Massa drove brilliantly in this race, and all season, where as Lewis was a bit up and down but got back on track in the second half of the season and i think he deseved to win the title.
I cant understand why people are slating Lewis, saying that he is 'dangerous' and 'unsporting' in the way that he drives, hell just look back at the earlier years of Schuey and the clips of when he deliberatly ran people off the track to stop them from winning a race/championship (Damon Hill and Jacques Villeneuve)
I believe that Lewis has looked and grown up seeing the style and how Schuey has driven over the years and has addapted it to suit himself as when i watch Lewis drive he very much reminds me of Michael in his younger years, pushing himself to prove that he is good.

In regards to that Lewis was to young when he came into F1, Schuey was also the age of 22 at his debut.

It does seem that Glock slowed right down and deliberatly let lewis past him, but if you watch the footage very closely of when lewis passes him you will see that the rear end of Glock's car is twitching like mad as it struggles to get traction on a set of soft 'slicks' as it climbs up towards the final bend, the rain was that heavy even the drivers running on the intermediate tyres struggled at times on certain areas of the track due to the water sat on the circuit.

All in all its been a brilliant season and its had some very good close races and im very much looking forward to next years championship.

EDIT: Just had a look at the old theme tune off BBC 1 posted by you Minili and saw in the related videos THIS i think it works really, a modern day twist on an old theme tune and everyone knows what it is :D

Shumacher wasnt all that, he continued to Cheat his way through victories right up to the end of his career, if you remember back in 2005? Jensons first win, he was Giving De-la-rosa No room at all so he had to cut the chicanes, then he got penalties, schumacher does it and gets away with it.

Im not denying that Shumacher wasnt all that but at least he actually pushed himself to keep on winning even if he did cheat, thats all Lewis is doing, when he messes something up he pushes himself that bit harder takes risks to try and make up for lost ground and people slate him for it saying he is a dangerous driver, you dont get anywhere in life if you dont push yourself and take risks.

But Motorsport is just one of those things, Take Risks And Risk Your Reputation as Alonso found out. Nobody said hes a dangerous driver mate, its the fact that hes to aggressive Which puts alot of people of him, there Aggression, but It Has a limit and alot of the time Hamilton Exceeds it.

I paid more attention to Glock in the highlights programme and in the penultimate lap - when they said the rain was getting heavy - Glock drove a fine first sector but ended up doing a 1:28 lap, which means that he lost up to 15 seconds in the second 2 sectors alone, and with one lap remaining he was 15 seconds ahead of Hamilton. So it's perfectly conceivable that he was losing sufficient time to lose those 15 seconds within the last lap. Nobody can argue with that really :D

I know I'm going back a few subjects there but that was enough to satisfy me that there was nothing dodgy going on so thought I'd post it while I thought about it. Heh.

They should use the Tantric cover of The Chain - true to the original, but with a slightly more modern sound.
