how have you been finding it sourcing/buying the parts, and have you got a finish date?
very excited to see this thing in action, good luck with the rest of the build

yeah hopefully ready for Liberation day but depends, main concern is definatly ready for August Trackdays in France... Its going to Z cars in April once its painted to have a few major bits done professionally and to speed things up a bit.
For parts not a problem... I use Minispares, its just trying to get as much down in one order as you remember, there's always something you forget but same with any mini project. Z cars have most stuff on shelf so its not a problem just make sure your clear on what you want first and get as much in one go to lower postage costs. It is more hassle than on mainland but you just make it happen.
You can come up and have a look at work in progress if your interested. Just send me a PM if your keen.
Cheers

And also I can now reveal the colour of the roof! Black! Any guesses as to the colour for the rest of the car?... Sitting in the oven waiting to be masked up again so should have some pictures by the weekend.. Exciting time this, took me ages to decide on colour, never thought I was that fussy but I reckon I jsut dont have a clue.
I have decided to paint the car early on in the build as its off the the Mainland in May to have some of the work done, so will need to be trailered. Getting some experienced retired friends to help me out with some of the more technical stuff. They happen to live close to Zcars compared with me so ideal if i'm missing any bits etc. Looking forward to getting on! Cheers

I wonder if Minispares can give me a freebie of some of this trim! So tight! They give you exactly the right amount. I cut the gap in the arch perfect and everything! sods law!
Unlucky man, get in touch with Simon, and see what he says

I have a had to go on ahead with the bodywork more thanI planned as the guy who was doing it for me had a busy schedual ahdead with his own stuff and wanted to see is all put on right (which is fine).
So im just gonna have to be very careful around the car working on it. Had a few beers in the garage tonight thinking I have my work cut out. But its been a happy night! Cheers!
