I've been stupid and been buying bits again. :withstupid:

Going to investigate the engine knocking more tomorrow. It sounds expensive, and im actualy skint now.

I took this video to help the lads on Turbo minis help me identify it.

Sounds like a rattly old transit. I've also got to bleed the clutch again, I don't think it's sealed properly.

I can get a driving vid of it if anyone's interested.

Still can't work out the knocking, maybe cam bearings, not sure and can't tell without a strip down.

Cheers
Ben

Cheers man, yeah that trigger wheel should do the job nicely. Im still unsure about the sensor bracket, I havn't started work on it yet. I'll have to see when I start making it.

You got a pic of when you had yours? just for some ideas. I just popped out to get some vaccum line, not sure if it's the right I.D, but will have to see when I start fitting it up.

Got a load of 6mm pneumatic pipe here you could of had man!. Fits the MJ Perfectly, and theres loads of fitting available.

I'll get a decent pic for you of my setup as the engine sits in the shed!.

Is that 6mm OD or ID? I thought it was more like 3mm ID.

6mm OD. Fits perfectly on the MAP sensor, at least it did do. Don't know if they have changed it!.

The sensor is slightly adjustable, but I got it as close as I could by cutting a new keyway in the pulley, then offset the VR sensor in the MJ software.

I had a go at making 1 bracket, and it's similar in that the sensor is mounted with a nut and bolt, these other ones I've seen shroud the sensor so it cant move about, ill have a look but if yours worked, I assume mine will too.
