Been getting a bit annoyed with the car this winter as its been a bit intolerable, I can't go thrashing around constantly in this weather, and it's not a race car, so thought I'd make it more comfortable and undo all my good lightening work. My cars been pretty good in the snow overall though, it's just a bit cold inside is all. And being a student I only see a couple of hours a day, so it's always dark and cold when im driving it. So it's had some undercarpet insulation, floor mats and an attempt at plugging all holes. My £50 998 is still going strong, it's using oil but not drasticly. Only problem at the moment is my Acewell speedo has packed up! It's not excactly had lot's of use either!! only around 4000 miles or something.
Sealed up the holes in the doors as it was a bit drafty, then re-fitted the door cards.
My cars getting around fine in the snow, although the salty slush stuck under it is depressing, so will give it a thorough clean underneat and ontop when it's warm enough not to freeze the road.
I fitted these chavvy courtesy lights as my rollcage ate mine over a year ago. I will add some more, and a switch to turn them on without having to open the door.
I've got a 1380 and gearbox to put together this xmas so hopefully have a bit of POOOOOOWWWEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRR when I go back to uni.
If I manage to get out of bed before lunchtime tomorrow I might give a sound system a go and maybe some more luxuries.
