Did you ever sort out this fire risk?
The main power lead wants a rubber grommit where it goes through the rear bulk head, as do the speaker wires really. Why did you not run them all through the same hole and keep it tidy?

That was just during testing and fitting, I fitted a rubber grommet to another hole closer to the battery.

Didn't fit them to the speaker cables as the amp had safety circuits, there was also a fuse on the battery terminal for the main wire.

Either way it's all gone now anyway.

Is this coming from america? If yes i had exactly the same thing happen. I called them up and they said that it was at the main depo and i had to pay import charges, they said they left a card, but there was nothing put through my letter box....

I had an e-mail from them today, and it appears they put the wrong address on the package and they are sending me out another.

I've heard of the import charges and thought that at first, but the tracking said it had been delivered.

Can't fault Autosport, they're sending me out another unit, even said I could keep the lost one if the recipient contacts me.

Cheers
Ben

Never realised how small the actual ECU is.

Just need to go home and make a couple of brackets to fit it all up.

Nice. I was wondering what was happening with this as their hadn't been an update in a few days. I'v been told their not that big. About the size of 2 credit cards. You decided where your gonna mount it?

yeah, im at uni at the moment so all work im doing is small service things, like changing thermostats. Not worth mentioning in here.

Over christmas I should be fitting the megajolt kit and the 1380 motor.

Then once thats all together, I'll move back to the turbo conversion project.

I think I'll mount it under the dashboard. Yeah about the size of 2 credit cards is about right. I need to a torx bit screwdriver to open the case and solder in the rev limiter.
I'll start soldering up my shift light soon aswell.

Good job there! I have this job to do. What wire did you use, in terms of capacity?
