Looks good matey! ...
I can't beleive I've attempted to drive this car... silly clutch.
To be fair, the clutch in my car is the worst I've ever driven.
It's either on or off. Not the ideal first mini to drive.

I reackon I can cut through the primer showing, and merge the paint. Well it's only there to tidy it up a bit until I redo it.
Just been out to the garage.
Will give this a skim of filler and have a go at splashing some blue stuff on it.
See here what I mean about the front wings, the arches are higher than the actual metal wings, so looks high up.
You can see a small grey line on the wing, where the primer got through the tape, will try join it better tomorrow.

Re-sprayed the visable interior of the door, it was scratched badly.
Got too do some clear coating, and then it's just the n/s headlight rust to sort.
I sorted the radiator aswell, a knackered fan belt dissintergrated and turned to dust and clogged up my rad, so spent an hour cleaning it out.

Great stuff, now is the perfect time to deal with these rust patches! Before we know it the mini eating salt will be out on the roads again.
Im scared about that, all this rust crept in this year with the snow and salt etc.
At least this year in uni, I have access to a hose pipe so can wash it more regularly and clean out all the little gaps properly

just a quick tip, when i do touch up jobs like your doing, i mask up, spray the primer on, then leave it for about 2 hours to dry, then remove the tape and smooth the edges off with a bit of 500 grit wet. Then i dont mask anywhere near where im spraying the colour, just seperate panels and windows etc, then once the colours gone off, flat it back with a bit of 1500 grit and polish it up with a bit of g3 compound or tcut, followed by polish. Thats the way i like to do it, as you dont end up with lines.
Looking good and keeping you busy though dude!
i do similar to this, gives a much better finish

All I need to do now is to get all the paint to stop reacting.
