Nope, I will tear apart the 1380 eventualy.

Broke down today, just a dicky fuse. Easily sorted.

Still slow.

My £50 998 engine did 510 miles thiss weekend with minimal incident. Just a heater pipe popped off.

Did 42mpg on the way and 50mpg on the way back.

Quite happy with the old girl.

AAAAAAnd MITP was awsome.

Was good to meet you and your mini in the flesh! I eventually got a run on the strip, got 20.7. Would have been good to see yours go up there! Even if it is a 998, it's all about that power to weight ratio. Anyway I'm gonna fall asleep in a minute. Probably see you at Combe if you're going?

that nocking noise could be the crank which is shot.
as on my 998 my crank snapped and sounded just like that.
or it could be the big ends which are *******.
i would put money on it being the bigends
