Clutch slips like mad, but im on the road! I'll swap the one from the 1380 over next weekend.

It's soooooooooooooo slow, I forgot how slow 998s are. I will have to make it lighter.

is it standard then ben my 998 stage 1 hif38 carb and metro cam and ram pipe and electronic ignition is really fast it could keep up with a 1275 if i wanted it to but deffo make it lighter its the way forward mate keep the good work up

I guess the 998 will seem slow after powering about in a 1380! Especially since the carb on it is too big too .

Yeah the carb I've got is too big, but I think it's broken aswell, as it missfires all over the place, but only somettimes, and today it wouldnt start. So will source a better one for it.

Naaa I found that switch in my mates garage, he drove his mini into a lamp post a couple of years ago and had this switch in it.


I've seen it on a few jap minis.

Just fitted a hif38, but it appears I need a new distributor as it's not firing on 2 and 3 same as it did occasionaly on my 1380.
