Push on the clutch pedal, clutch disengages, drop gears stop noise stops.
Sorry Tom, good thinking, me being dumb. Would be a good excuse for straight cut drops if I had the money.
Flywheel assembly is in good condition, as is the release bearing, which feels new.
Will order a new gasket set now and pull the bell housing tomorrow and see what the damage is. Im expecting lot's of metal filings in my oil.

Thats what I was thinking .
Might be an obvious one, but whats the oil level like?. My drops get louder as the oil level drops.
But I'd brace yourself for an eaten transfer case if I was you . I have a spare one if you need it...

Oil level was ok, not great but ok. It's not like they where whining, they were banging, they sounded a lot worse than in the video.

As I stormed out of the garage, I saw oil pooring from the block, a squashed exhaust, smashed brand new lambda probe, and a nice big dent in the front of the car.
Probably more damage. I also can't afford to repair it, so looks like im now without a car.

As I stormed out of the garage, I saw oil pooring from the block...
If the engine fell over, then oil is probably coming through the pushrod holes?
...a squashed exhaust...
Dirt cheap, or even bendable.
...smashed brand new lambda probe...
Bummer, but not the end of the world.
...and a nice big dent in the front of the car...
Admittedly, that sucks. I appreciate the fact you're skint, but going without a car every now and then is just part of being a student, owning a mini.
Might want to look into an exorcism once you've healed, this car's got it in for you.
