Yeah it goes ok, but it needs more. Thinking of giggle gas now. Turbo parts have started to be sold. Just can't afford it.
Theres a long hill near me, I was flying up the overtaking lane and a rude boy fiesta pulled out infront of my and tried to loose me.
No chance, properly dogged me out when I over took him hitting around 7,500 rpm, change into 4th for a cheaky exhaust pop.
The camera cut out before all the fun bits.
I almost lost it booting it out of a corner in the lanes as it torque steered all over the place, it's not too bad as long as your not turning too sharply.
The oil level was quite low meaning I had to take it easy turning right.
Run out of funds to do anything to it now. Need to save up for my holidays.

So, on a scale of Odd-vibrations-above-40 to Engine-internals-on-the-tarmac, how broken is it?

Firstly I cleaned up my inlet manifold, as the casting was awfull, realy realy bad, just lumps of alluminium sticking up in the inlet tracts, so thats a little better now.
Then realised that would have a minimal effect as it's only a cheap mini spares one, so on the lookout for a better one.
Then got out my vizard book and decided to get more flow to the engine.
As you can see, lot's of improvment to be made, firstly I removed the screw thread and the locating lug for the piston.
Gone and smoothed.
I then removed the butterfly, and found one from another carb which was a little slimmer.
I then cut the butterfly valve spindle half and then filled down that half to around half of it's thickness, knife edged the butterfly and used some small cap head screws to hold it together.
This is around 1/3rd of the thickness of the original butterfly valve if not a bit slimmer.
You can also in that last picture see where, i've smoothed off the bridge by the jet, and where the body sits around the piston and removed any rough edges of casting. I also smoothed off the edges of the piston on the entrance and exit. Vizard explains that these mods collectively will allow flow increase of up top 30%.
Cheers for looking

Can you tell im bored at the moment?
Went a bit far, and had to make a brass plug with one hole.
Forgot to take another picture, but after all that, I only lost 15 grams.
More holes than swiss cheese
Ones I fix the broken bit of the car, I might go out and buy a holesaw.

Wasn't expecting that Ben.
Holier than the popes cheese collection!
I think I've got the lightening bug now.
I was looking at the car tonight and thinking, that can go, that can have some holes, and that could be made in alluminium.
I've got some very heavy things on their way to me to bolt on. So I've got to try and offset the weight of them.
