What can you do with the Iphone?

Nothing lol, but only got the money to buy i-phone or an ecu, so If I don't get an I-phone I'll buy the ecu.

Then sell my current phone and buy an ecu with that money.

http://www.autosport...uster-p-38.html

I have one of them too, it's amazing in the dark when you go through the revs! I love my megajolt (although had a nighmare with some faulty ht leads the other day). Running cushty now.

Love this car, keep it up! JJ

Hee hee yes you did!!
wish i had suggested HT leads...it did still sound like Coil or Module had gone...at least you have a spare now!! :D
got to say though there are loads of minis running MJ now, or in the process of going that way...amazing as 2 years ago it was barely heard of!

Clutch started to slip today, only in 4th, but will soon work it's way through all of them, so taking it steady at the moment.

It's hemorrhaging oil at the moment aswell.

So engine will come out, new gaskets and sealent all round. Metro turbo clutch plate will go in. I might put a new gearbox on aswell, not sure yet, mine jumps out of 1st.

Weld up old seat mount holes. Re-weld the wing to the front panel, repair the front arch.

Re-wire all the accessories as there a mess at the moment. Sound proofing off the rear of the floor.
Attempt to remove dent in boot, and respray and hammerite the bit's that need doing.

Oh and all has to be completed by thursday. Also with no money.............at all.
Should be interesting.

Turbo conversion is moving further and further away at the moment, considering leaving it now, just keep running the 1380 as it is.

Hmmmmm lot's to think about.

Oil leak found.

Clutch has oil on it, so new crank oil seal to go on, and hopefully no more slip.

I actualy have no idea why there is bogroll in there, I found it under the rear bench, I think that's for passengers when im using the loud pedal.

To be fair, the recent problems I think have been my fault rushing things. The engine has leaked oil ever since I last put the engine in, so I must have put that half moon gearbox seal in wrong, as it wouldn't move like that under use. I have no idea why the crank oil seal is leaking, maybe due to not fitting correctly when sliding the drop gear housing, I don't have the correct tool to protect the seal, so use insulation tape over the splines, which has worked fine loads of times in the past.

Had a look through all my spares here today, i've got a gasket set, but doesn't have a timing cover gasket, or a clutch oil seal. The local mini specialist is closed today, so will get the last bits tomorrow and put the engine back in.

I'll probably re-wire it today and do some welding and painting. When under the car yesterday I found the extent of the oil leak, it was dripping off the rear valance, drums are wet with oil, and the floors won't rust anytime soon.

Just a thought about your breather setup - is it connected to the carb? Maybe too much pressure in the crankcase so its blowing seals out?

I must admit I've only ever slid the crank seal over the primary gear and knocked it on square and its never failed yet.

No the breathers arn't connected, if I can make some room in the engine bay, I'll refit my home made oil catch tank, and then connect that too the carb.

I don't think it blew the seal out, I think it was just poor fitment.

You could be onto something with the crankcase preasure though, I'll look into it.
The engine came off the box, and is now back on and the gaskets and seals seem to have sat properly this time. So will bolt it up and get the new oil seal tomorrow, and refit.

Realy don't want to do anything on it though, I've got man flu.
